Health Checks

RealServe IT offers an onsite health check service for virtualized environments. We understand that over time virtual environments may have changed from their original design to meet business and IT requirements.

Our service brings real world experienced Technical Consultants onsite to make recommendations for your environment today and going forward. We can also discuss/demonstrate the latest features available from the vendors as their products evolve.

Citrix HealthCheck

Our Citrix Health check service aims to check your environment against our Citrix Consultancy best practices. We aim to help make recommendations in the following core areas.

Stability – Stability in the environment is important for customer perception of the Citrix service. We aim to ensure that your environment delivers a stable consistent experience for users.

Performance – This needs to be accessed for both user experience and system resource perspective. Users should be receiving acceptable performance , while was also want to ensure that resources are neither stretched or under-utilised in the environment. We aim to help review this balance.

Security – An assessment will look at the environment from a security perspective. We aim to  make recommendations where deemed suitable.

Logons – Typically we expect a user’s logon to be between 0-30 seconds. Anything greater than this would warrant a look into the logon process. Also policy control around idle,disconnection and pre-session launches can influence this perception. We aim to ensure you are delivering an acceptable logon experience. 

Profiles – The profile solution will be reviewed. We can if necessary review third-party solutions (Appsense, Flex) 

Printing – The print solution will be reviewed. This will be compared to typical best practices and also your company’s experiences with printing within the environment. Our aim is to help ensure reduced support and management with printing.

Policys - Citrix policy use will be reviewed. Citrix policies should be used to manage and control the environment. Our aim is to ensure you are getting the best use out of Citrix polices.

Scalability – An environment should be scaled to suit both the current and future load requirements. We aim to ensure that the scale of the site is correct, and highlight and reduction or additional requirements for the environment.

Upgrades – We will assess the current versions and patches within your environment and provide roadmap and planning advice for upgrades to newer versions.
